Description
Elita One and Arcee sweep the abandoned tunnels beneath Cybertron for Decepticon activity. Or ... maybe they already found some Decepticon activity, and the destruction you see behind them is the result of them fighting it out?
I'm still playing with my marker technique, which is pretty much a new medium for me. I also tried to capture a more evocative feel to this composition, with the sense that these abandoned tunnels really aren't a pleasant place to be. And there were three very important things I wanted to express with this picture:
1.) I wanted to express that "feminine" doesn't necessarily mean "weak and delicate."
2.) I wanted to express that, with these two being assigned this task, the Autobots clearly appreciate a femme with a little "armor plating on her circuits."
3.) I wanted to express that I own way too many pink markers.

Done mainly with Copic brush-tip markers (with a little assistance from some citrus-colored Sharpies) on Canson 70 lb. drawing paper.

Funny thing, energon, Cybertronian blood, is pink. So its kind of like a soldier wearing dark red armor and you can't tell what's paint and what's blood. By that logic, wearing pink armor would actually be pretty intimidating to quite a few Cybertronians.
